What’s Inside Sea Haven: A Look at Our Key Ingredients
Share
We believe you should know what you’re putting on your skin. Here’s a closer look at the ingredients that make Sea Haven Whipped Body Butter feel the way it does, and why each one is there.
Shea butter
Pressed from the nuts of the shea tree, shea butter has long been used in skincare for its rich, creamy texture. It’s a go-to for dry skin because it helps lock in moisture and leaves skin feeling soft.
Cocoa butter
Cocoa butter comes from the cacao bean and adds a smooth, velvety richness. Together with shea, it gives the butter its deeply moisturizing base without leaving a heavy film.
Sunflower seed oil
A lightweight, vitamin-rich oil that helps the butter glide on easily and absorb quickly. It’s the reason Sea Haven feels whipped and cloud-soft rather than thick.
Glycerin
A humectant, which means it attracts water to the skin. It’s one of the most trusted hydrating ingredients in skincare, and it supports that plump, hydrated feel.
Colloidal oatmeal
Finely ground oats that have been used in skin and bath care for generations. Colloidal oatmeal is known for its calming, comforting feel on dry, itchy-feeling skin, which is why it’s a core ingredient here.
Allantoin
A gentle skin-conditioning ingredient that helps soothe and soften. It pairs well with colloidal oatmeal to keep the formula comforting for sensitive skin.
Kelp and sea ferments
Giant kelp and sea ferments bring a coastal touch to the formula. They help condition and nourish skin, and give Sea Haven its name.
Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E
Panthenol (Vitamin B5) and tocopherol (Vitamin E) support a healthy, hydrated feel and help keep skin comfortable between applications.
Every jar is handcrafted in small batches, and the full ingredient list is always on the label, because we think transparency should be standard.
